Harcourt Hill parkrun takes place at 9 am on Saturdays at the Sports Centre of Oxford Brookes University’s Harcourt Hill Campus.
Getting There
The Sports Centre is 3 miles south west of central Oxford, just off the A34 (Harcourt Hill exit), past the main campus. By bus, no U1 stops at the campus. Oxford station is 2 miles away.

Parking
There is plenty of free parking in the Sports Centre car park. Note: Parking enforcement begins at 10 am. If you intend to stay past this time, you need to register your vehicle registration details at the meter to qualify for further free parking.
Toilets
There are toilets in the leisure centre.
Course
The course is a rather twisty two loops of the playing fields/golf course, with a couple of tight turns to deal with on each lap.

Terrain
The course is all on grass and is very flat.
Shoes
It’s on grass around the edge of a field. We ran in August and wore trainers.
Difficulty
Run Britain rankings for UK parkruns places Harcourt Hill as 513rd fastest out of 706. It has a total elevation of 14 metres. The only ‘obstacles’ are the twists and turns.
Fun Factor

It’s running round a field. Note: Dogs are not permitted at this event, or anywhere on the university campus.
Nearby Attractions
Harcourt Hill is just 3 miles from Oxford with its ancient university, numerous museums and the River Thames for picturesque strolls or you can go full on tourist and go punting.
