Wild Ones Play Cafe is a role play cafe with an enchanted forest theme aimed at younger children. It is situated in the Bournemouth suburb of Kinson.

How to get to Wild Ones Play Cafe
Kinson is 4 miles north of central Bournemouth along the A347 then turning onto the A341 (Wimborne Road). Wild Ones in is on the main road.
By Bus
Bus No 11 stops at Horsham Avenue, a 2 minute walk from the cafe. Bus No 5 stops at the Library, also a 2 minute walk away.
Access
There is flat access to the cafe. Most of the play area is on one level, although there is a second storey to the climbing frame suitable for slightly older children.
Parking
There are a few parking options nearby with free roadside parking in neighbouring streets. Alternatively, Tesco, Kinson Community Centre and Pelhams Park all have car parks within a few minutes walk.

- There are discounts for siblings and if you visit 4 times within 3 months, the 5th visit is free
Suitable for age
The Play Cafe is for children age 0 to 4 years. Older children are allowed in the cafe but not the play area.

Details
The play area is designed round an enchanted forest theme with role play areas including the Woodland Stores, a wildlife rescue centre, a picnic area with barbecue. Orla loves role play and enjoyed here visit to Wild Ones, although the enchanted forest theme was probably lost on here.

The two storey forest hut doubles as a climbing frame with role play cubbies on the ground floor a second level reached via a wooden staircase.

The well stocked dressing up area is great for sparking children’s imaginations, although food orientated Orla was too busy cooking her imaginary lunch on the barbecue.

There is a designated area for younger children with a ball pit with plenty of sensory toys.
Events
Regular Events
On Fridays, you can attend a Zip Zap music class. This class “combines traditional nursery rhymes with upbeat and lively pop songs, which will have children and carers alike bopping along to the funky beats”. Zip Zap takes place from 11 am until 12:30. This includes the 45 minute Zip Zap class plus a 45 minute Stay & Play session and costs £12 for one child age 0-4 years plus one adult.
On Sundays, there is a Dads’ Club from 10 am until 11. 30 am. Usual prices apply.
One Off Events
Other events take place sporadically throughout the year, such as a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, messy play and storytelling sessions. Plus there are seasonal themed events including Mothers’ Day, Easter, Fathers’ Day, Halloween and Christmas.
Food & Drink
The cafe offers snacks, such as paninis and jacket potatoes, plus a range of cakes. A Kid’s Basket containing a sandwich, a choice of either crisps, yoghurt or fruit, plus a carton of juice costs £4.99.
Toilets/Changing Facilities
There are toilets on site, plus a nice, well stocked changing area complete with nursing chair.
