Lemur Landings is a large soft play area for children aged 11 and under. It is on the outskirts of Poole in the Tower Park Leisure Complex, which also has a range of other activities and restaurants.

How to get to Lemur Landings

Tower Park is located around 5 miles north west of Bournemouth, just off the A3049 between Bournemouth and Poole. It is well signposted. Note: Roadworks on the A3049 may cause congestion and are scheduled to continue until mid 2025.

By Bus

It’s not the easiest place to reach by public transport from Bournemouth. Buses no 16 and 17 stop at Chesil Gardens and No 18 stops at Warburton Road. Both are around a 15 minute walk to the complex. Bus No 26 from Poole does stop at Tower Park, but via a rather circuitous route round Canford Heath.

Parking

Tower Park has a large, free car park.

Access

Lemur Landings is above the cinema. The main entrance is reached via a flight of stairs. Alternatively, there is a lift just to the right of this entrance.

Opening Times

Lemur Landings is open daily. During term time, the centre is open continuously from 10.30 am until 6 pm. At weekends and during school holidays, there are three separate sessions:

• 9.30 am until 12 pm
• 12.30 pm until 3 pm
• 3.30 pm until 6 pm

Price

Prices vary with off peak sessions during school term time. Current prices are as follows:

Suitable for age

Lemur Landings has several different sections which are aimed at children of varying ages. Activities suitable for babies and toddlers are detailed below. For older children, up to the age of 11, there is a multi level play frame, two climbing walls and a low ropes course.

Soft Play

Under 8s have their own multi level Soft Play area with the same equipment and the large play area, only smaller. Orla really loved this, although she insisted that her grandma followed her through the various tunnels and obstacles – that’s a lot of crawling for an old lady!

There’s also a smaller soft play area dedicated to children aged below 1 year old.

LewEyville

Leweyville is a seven station role play village with row of buildings to visit including a vet, fire station, school, garage etc. Orla had fun operating on dinosaurs in the vet (whilst wearing a hard hat), cooking in the cafe with her very own over gloves and serving in the village store.

Leweyville also has its own road with plenty of ride on vehicles for little ones to practise their driving skills.

There’s even a police station with its own jail.

Sky Tykes Low Ropes Course

Children aged over 2 can, with a parent/guardian’s help, tackle the Low Ropes Course. Orla was too young for this, so had to watch the older children, mesmerised.

The Ted Shed

At the Ted Shed, you can choose a teddy or other soft toy to stuff and accessorise. The also offer glitter tattoos.

Food & Drink

There is a cafe selling drinks, snacks, burgers, pizzas etc. A children’s meal costs £6.85 if purchased in the cafe or £5.50 if added to your original online booking. There is plenty of seating spread around the various play areas.

Toilets/Changing Facilities

There are toilets with changing facilities on site. Orla loves the bathroom here, because the sinks are at a range of different levels, including a low-down one which she can reach to wash her own hands.
